# Ranking Pools

## What are rankings?

Rankings are a way to award active users on Enoch. A ranking system also enables a competitive environment and social proof. Climbing the ranks is not purely aesthetic as the higher rank the user hits, the more missions, quests and Love they stand to receive.

## How do they work?

Rankings are not directly connected to the weekly competitions as shown in [Social-fi](broken://pages/rWArtzmdvLtIt7vs9Psb). Ranks are directly effected by the categories shown below
